Saturday starts February and it's the Trofeo Andratx - Pollença. Now, I don't know about you, but a climb of 35.5 km long and average 0.7% does not seem right to me! :)

If the race is stopped then the person who was ahead at the time of the stoppage should be declared the winner. Amund Grøndahl Jansen is the victor.

If they seriously stopped it because of rain and temperature than it's indeed "Utter woke nonsense"
If you don't want to race give up. Let the real men race for it.

Why would there have been black ice? As far as I can tell from Spanish weather agency data it didn't freeze at the elevation they were riding at at any point in the 24 hours leading up to the race and I can't find any statements to the contrary.

I can, however, find a statement by the race organisers, who are not happy. Loose translation: they had zero input in the decision to stop the race, disagree with the decision, see this as a lack of respect from the riders and doubt this would have happened if this was the Tour or Vuelta.
