after his wind tunnel testing this morning, Froome has improvised a #ridewithfroomey invitation on Twitter.

Didn't Armstrong used to do these type of things in Dublin and Australia? Froomey channeling Lance?

"Good morning Dublin. Who wants to ride this afternoon? I do. 5:30pm @ the roundabout of Fountain Rd and Chesterfield Ave. See you there," Armstrong tweeted.

When the American arrived he was mobbed by fans, many jostling for a prime position at the front of the pack with one of cycling's all-time greats.

The 38-year-old, who is in Ireland for a global cancer summit, said: "For me, I like to ride my bike anyway, so on a very simple level it's a very sunny, beautiful day in Dublin and I'd be going for a bike ride anyway.

"The story is, it's a great city and it's a great park. It's a great evening to go out."

From about 4.30pm, scores of cyclists travelled from every corner of the city en route to the famous park.

Lol! :D

There a few constants in Cycling.

Froome looking at his stem and still winning
Laurent Jalabert being the worst journalist in history who deserves to loose his job and fall down some stairs.
Sagan Winning Green Jersey

Sagan Winning Green Jersey

Rojas getting not winning any sprint in a big race
Kittel losing leaders jerseys when gravity kicks in
Mollema getting between 7th and 10th in the Tour
TdF being decided after first MTF
Ardennes classics sucking
Paris Roubaix has dry weather

Fanboy fights on this board
LS hating on Sagan
People losing their *** when Contador wins
People losing their *** when Contador doesn't win
People losing their *** when Froome doesn't look at stem
Descrediting one riders entire fandom based on one post
Gigs watching a race where nothing happens
Gigs not watching a race where *** hits the fan

I'm sure I'm missing a few here

Just because his opinions are different about your hero?

Jalabert was slanderous against Froome. Making accusations of wild numbers and telling french tv they shouldn't believe in Froome. That is being a *** journalist as he knows nothing about wether Froome is clean or not.
If Froome was french he wouldn't have been saying that ***.
He just said it to make headlines and be relevant.
He's a ***

If he had said the same about a different rider you wouldn't be saying this. Also the numbers were into the territory of not believable. Also there are a few evidences(indications) against Froome but lets not get into the clinic matters.
And yeah if Froome was French he wouldn't have said these things.

Thats bs and slanderous. There is no indications Froome is doping, otherwise the UCI would investigate.

People wouldn't suspect him if he didn't win. But someone has to win.
Yes I would defend Nibali, Contador or anyone.

Let's all calm down.

Looks lean and mean. If that is a recent photo, this new information would have me adjust upwards his odds to win the Tour by a non-zero amount

Are there any instagram training photos we could obsess over, wondering whether they are suggestive he'll reach 2014 uh I mean 2012, 2013 or 2015 form this year?

Froome has raced always that way, it is not looking the stem, it is his usual movement in a bike since a boy.

Some people thinks he looks data or something like that contantly, but he raced the same way in the past before SKY...Of course he sometimes looks at the data, a the rest of the riders, but no more. If you put Froome a bike without data and you ask him his maximum, he will do the same.

He says its because he gets neck ache if he spends too much time in a 'normal' position. He does the see the funny side of it though, in the backstage pass at the herald sun Tour he was laughing at the Froome looking at stems site.

In my opinion he has certainly lightened up a little in the last couple of seasons, he is confident in his abilities and has little to prove.

I'm sorry but.. I just can't get over how ugly CF rides a bike. I know style doesn't count for anything but when it's THIS bad I actually think it should. When I became passionate about bike racing as a kid I followed riders, not just because they were good but because they looked good doing it. I know I used to try to emulate their style of riding. Just can't see that many young aspiring bike racers looking at CF and thinking "THAT'S what I want to look like!".

Yes its ugly, however he's not going to change it with the results he's achieved the past few years. Zakarin has taken that style to a whole new level! :D

I am sorry you cannot overcome this. and you are not the only one. it's so painful to see many fans have to cope with that.
I hope one day this hard battle can be won and the style police will finally be at peace.
