In one or two years time you might get your wish. It would be interesting to see how he went, assuming age hasn't diminished him too much.

I think you know why... interesting, my guess would be he is already at a very high level considering how much he has trained. Bummer not to see Valverde race against him.

Including himself :lol: Joke aside, I'm not certain he'll ride until I see him at the start line. UCI will pressure them hard these days, everything is possible.

Will he keep a low profile (not going for the win) or will he smash the rest like he usually do? That is the most interesting question.

Winning isn't the most important. The reaction from the rest of the peloton, the spectators, the cycling world is probably his main concern.

You realize there are bigger victories than MTF records. If I were in his place, I'd use this race to talk to people.

I don’t think froome will take the start line, something will happen between now and then.

But it's a good question. How is he going to tackle this race? The race itself isn't a big deal.. it's not even WT. But building trust and a better image is.

It adds another dimension to the race. To cycling in general. There are more layers to cycling than just riding on your bike.
