I'm a little bit surprised to hear very little to none news about Froome's Giro d'Italia victory on BFBS radio, while in fact news about Simon Yates were very prominent on BFBS until he cracked out of the pink jersey.

Does that have any specific reason. Technically spoken Froome must be the much bigger rider and news for the British forces, isn't he!?

I meant that BFBS made very little to none reports about him winning the Giro d'Italia, when there were several reports about Yates in the days before. Nothing to do with Froome not attending their studios like you suggested. Why would he?

mmm...
Cyclingnews article today from Stephen Farrand.
Chris Froome swaps saddles to find vital pain relief at Giro d’Italia
Race winner made change before decisive mountain attack

Velon CC
@chrisfroome rode #Giro101 at an average speed of 40.1km/h making it one of the fastest editions in the history of the @giroditalia. He pushed out HUGE numbers throughout a gruelling three week test of his durability to win a sixth Grand Tour title.

Mysterious Case or The Missing Power File. During the Giro, the teams who were members of Velon shared their data (power, speed) through a box under their saddle. But on stage 19 there was something wrong with the data from Froome.

Would have been interesting to see that data.......

Ofcourse they did.

as a rule almost any person has huge problems with getting over his/her way of thinking and rearranging it. In 2013-2014 Froome was being despised for a wide range of things: inability to ride in the rain, on cobbles, on descents, relying on his team way too much, being tactically inept, not being able to race in echelons, inability to deliver real racing etc, etc. at this point most of these items are wiped off, but there is the biggest one. lots of casual and oldschool fans will never ever forgive froome for his sudden 2011 transformation as well as performing for the most dodgy modern cycling team and that's a thing froome hardly can do anything with.

what is the consensus among Froome fans about Vegni inviting Contador onto the podium? I thought that was a little weird and Alberto looked uncomfortable as well, but I can't really find any negative comments on social media

 :D ;)
Why's that funny  did i miss something
I think because it looks like you're trying to find something negative and you're disappointed that you were unable to.

Ok I meant that I didn't see any negative comments. As can be expected I'm constantly looking for comments whether positive or negative ;)

To me one of the key reasons for Froomes success is that take out 2014, all
Of his crashes and ( over breaking into houses TDF) he has really suffered little serious injuries. Riders like Cadel and Contador had some tough injuries and Froome seems to hit the deck and get up like nothing's happened.

Evans got off lightly compared to Contador. His only bad crashes in GTs were in 2008 which many people believe went a long way to costing him the race or at least doing a better final TT. The other one was in 2010 when he fractured his wrist and DNF when in yellow after doing a tough Giro and he wasn't expected to hang on even though he was riding well. The thing about Evans was that he always avoided the light crashes such as Froome sometimes has while Contador seemed to be crashing all the time at least in the second half of his career. The only other injury of note that Evans had was knee tendonitis before the 2010 Giro when he had some time off. I think Froome's pre TT crash in the Giro was a lot worse than many thought. Then he fell again on the same side going uphill. So Evans got off lightly compared to many of his contemporaries. Cunego, VDB, Gesink etc was a just a horror show. The Schlecks also crashed more than Evans. Dumb luck or good bike handling, probably a bit of both.
