He's racing right now, i.e. I'm following it on PCS.
They're currently on the first cat 1 climb.
He has been 11th an 14th last 2 editions of this race, so I dont understand yout commentAnd he's not dropped yet.
The hard work.....getting the hard miles.... the hard work is paying off.And he's not dropped yet.

The fifth is coming.
"I'm gone, i'm dead".Or not.
He got dropped off camera. I saw him on the previous climb but now he's gone.
"I'm gone, i'm dead".
Given that there were 94 starters he has just snuck into the top half on the results sheet, truly building the form for le tour

I hear this kind of statement for three years now. "He was not good today, but we have to give him some more time before we can really evaluate him."We have to wait thil the last stages to Dauphine to make a better evaluation.
No, I saw him drop in the beginning of Couillole, it didn‘t look like a mechanical.I'm not excluding the possibility there was a mechanical issue or something. He was in the main bunch on La Colmiane towards the top of the climb & then nowhere at the foot of La Couillole.
But in the event that was really his level, I'd be surprised if he even goes to the Dauphiné. The 'problem' is he has just come down from an altitude camp & his teammates did much better (namely Riccitello & Bennett).
And the rider in question. There's an expression in English wish goes by "polish a turd" and I think that suffices to describe this thread since the end of 2019...
