You need to be like Gilbert and chase after your own team-mates instead of waiting for them. :D

LOL, I thought it was lame that Gilbert got criticized for that. I don't think he ever chased a teammate that could have possibly, you know, WON. :p

I really think that Froome should be doing the Giro/Vuelta. It's not that he can't win the tour, it's just that he hasn't won a GT yet and he's going to have to deal with Contador and a bunch of other big names at the Tour. I guess I mostly say this because I never bet against Contador, but it's just my thoughts. He will also have JRod who really had the most epic non-winning performance that you can have.

I don't think Wiggo will have too much of a problem at the Giro. I think he can hang with Nibz in the mountains and he will for sure get him on the ITT.

Hindsight is 20/20, Froome was asked to stay with Wiggo to help in case of mechanical more than to pace him as we all could see.

Just thinking about the departure of the two DS's from Sky, I can't help wondering if Froome might be secretly pleased?
In the 11 Veulta De Jongh sought advice from Sean Yates who insisted on Froome supporting Wiggins. In the 12 Tour, Yates insisted on Froome waiting for Wiggins. Yates and Wiggins were very close, reckoning stages together. Its not yet clear who will fill the DS gaps, but I can't help but wonder if he will suit Froome better.

Ep 4 of the Road to Glory series showed Brailsford giving the order during the briefing just before Stage 17. Yates was on the radio during the race making sure they stick with the plan.

Yates just drove the car.

and shouted to the riders whatever brailsford shouted to him. one look or interview with yates is enough to realise he's no leader

Maybe they should just employ Nigel Mansell

I hope that froome rides the worlds as well as the tour. the tough course will suit him more than any other of gbs riders. However he may claim to be tired again if he has the same early season schedule as wiggins had for the tour this year

Colombians with him or Giro with Brad?

I hope for Brad that hey won't do this; he'll get Froomed again, but then by the Colombians.

Henao > Brad when it comes to GT's with a lot of serious climbing

Henao getting dropped by Scarponi > Wiggins?

His most impressive performance was Lagunas de Neila, but hard to extrapolate that to GT climbs.

Brads first year at sky was also **** and he was 5 years older. It takes time for swimming to help, especially for an Antioqueno ;)

Ritchie Porte will probably be Froome's first pick to go with him, seeing as they are roommates and race a lot together.
