Guys... this is the Chris Froome Thread. Go to the real football thread to discuss about Kane.

I get that off-topic discussion isn't encouraged but cmon, does it really matter in the off-season?

Yeah agree. Back to the clinic then.

Yeah, that's one option. The other is to paste tweet / photo / anything in The Most Famous Thread.

Bad option. Don't really fancy to talk about someone who's spectacular future is history.

So, for all the jingoists who didn't know who Harry Kane is. He is the top scorer in the whole of Europe for 2017.

I didn't say everyone who hasnt heard of Harry Kane was a jingoist.

You can't really criticise someone just because they haven't heard of someone. But you can have a dig at the few people who were being snidey douchebags about it.

it's a wonder no one in the anti-wiggins camp suggested it was fixed by giving chris a double-strength concentration without telling him, so he could blow at near twice the max limit and thereby get the whole jiffy bag thing out of the news....just too bad the timing was a bit long

That elbow wound though. He'll be fine, but that looks painful.

Dunno is there any other GC winner who goes down as often, in training and in racing like he does?
His pal Richie :p

Yep, and Contador had quite a close relationship with the tarmac in his final few years :D

It seems that there's no deadline for team Sky to deliver the data to the UCI. So Froome is allowed to take part in any race until further news.

He's nominated for the Laureus award.
Yes, very nice that the Dawg was among the three British nominees
(from a total of six on the men's short-list), but I thought SKY might
get a look in the team category...sadly, they did not. :(

That really is ridiculous if true. There has to be a deadline.

Ulissi must be raging that he didn’t think to just string them along for a few years. “Yeah, I’ll get those lab results to you next week.”

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/gir...ci-to-sort-out-chris-froomes-salbutamol-case/
The director of the Giro d’Italia Mauro Vegni has said that the UCI must "sort out" Chris Froome's salbutamol case before the start of this year's Italian Grand Tour. He reiterated that he cannot accept a "compromise solution" that would allow Froome to ride and possibly win the Giro d'Italia only to lose his victory due to a positive anti-doping result from another race, which is what happened to Alberto Contador in 2011.
