if froomw wins this tour he will be the greatest gt rider of all time.

Definitely, the panache of winning 4 GT’s in a row would be insane. He is extremely brave to attempt the giro-tour double when he could have just followed his standard formula and won a fifth tour and become one of the legends “the easy way”. He’s always pushing the envelope which makes him exciting to watch these later years. In the beginning he was boring because of his and Sky’s dominance, but by continually raising the bar for himself he’s made cycling very exciting outside the classics.

Well said; credit where credits due....all too rare when it comes to this particular cyclist

Don't you think this discussion is pointless after more than a month?
Maradona's goal, you mean?
Maradona's goal was a masterpiece, Froome will never be able to score such a goal, I'm afraid..
Agreed.
Yes, thank you, especially during Mundial'2018

But can you imagine Maradona trying to cycle up a mountain

They will be all in for Froome and G will be expected to toe the line when required, I can't see him going rogue, his only chance of competing in the race is if Froome ships more time and time and they need him as the backup plan.

Thomas in yellow, does Froome attack him?
We must wait at least till Mur de Bretagne.

And who does Poels work for?
Yes, there would be so many attacks, then it will be resolved in last 1 km, I think.
EDIT: Unless CF will lose a few minutes everybody will work for him.
EDIT #2: No, even if CF lost a few minutes, SKY will be remembered Finestre. So, to be honest, no chances for Thomas to be a leader untill CF has no chances overall.

Damn, just watched the crash from the GoPro footage. Froome is lucky he's still in the race!

Agreed. He was a bit stupid trying to ride into a gap that wasn’t there. He was hopelessly out of position as well and not at the front as he stated. He does tend to lie a bit.
