To look on the bright side. How many millions are Israel gonna pay him for next year again?
To rescue carreer he has to do full revers-Thomas and remake himself from TDF champion to an average classic rider!
Vuelta stage 1 on Strava:
"but despite losing contact with the leaders, Froome still put out some serious watts to get over pushing 439w for eight minutes and 50 seconds, that’s an estimated 6.6w/kg. "
Strava stats reveal the power from Chris Froome, Sepp Kuss and Richard Carapaz after explosive stage one of the Vuelta a España 2020
The GC race kicked off with a bang in Spain - here’s a look inside some of the performanceswww.cyclingweekly.com
Contador was awarded that stage Denifl won?Well, we know he's the third best GC man on the cobbles
And we must talk about his formidable sprinting prowess. Who can forget his sprinting to snatch the 2017 Vuelta points jersey from Matteo Trentin, or his many friendly duels with Peter Sagan?
In all seriousness, what a cool career.
I was going to say his 2021 may look like Contador's last season - spoken of as a contender out of respect, but ultimately a faded force capable only of a stage win from the break - but then I checked Alberto's 2017 results and boy oh boy what Froome would give to be good enough to stand on the podium of Paris–Nice and the tours of Catalunya and the Basque Country, never mind a top-10 of the Tour followed by a top-5 at the Vuelta and two stages.
Maybe they are just indicating that he is fat.Am I'm missing something or does this make no sense? Leading group does 5.9-6w/kg and froome is dropped on the same climb doing 6.6w/kg?!
Imagine Froome making the selection in FlandersTo rescue carreer he has to do full revers-Thomas and remake himself from TDF champion to an average classic rider!
Contador was awarded that stage Denifl won?
He wasn't awarded the stage though, number 1 spot was left vacant.Yep - though I forgot about this detail, he only won one "on the road".
That is just so typical. He wasn't awarded the stage though, number 1 spot was left vacant.
He did 6.6 W/kg for eight minutes solo. How long was the whole climb?Am I'm missing something or does this make no sense? Leading group does 5.9-6w/kg and froome is dropped on the same climb doing 6.6w/kg?!
He just let go yesterday. I guess today was midly better but he wasn't really dropping anyone.Did look a teeny bit better on today's stage. Then again, it was a relatively easy stage, right?
He's back at where he began, basically.
He wasn't awarded the stage though, number 1 spot was left vacant.
In the grand scheme of things, it isn't that importantWikipedia gives it to him, other places don't. My fault.
