Contador wouldn't have won the 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 TDFs anyway. With or without Froome.

But yeah, CN was Contador central at one point. His biggest fans usually don't like it that Froome has a better TDF palmares. A way better one, if you include stage wins.

But of course Froome had far better team support. Than anyone. Froome would have lost the 2015 Tour to Quintana IMO if he didn't have that.

2021 froome is richer and better at "bullshitting".

Take the top 100 ranked cyclists and give them Froome's background and I don't think any more than two would make it to the World Tour. It's a lot easier to make it to the top if you come from a cycling background in a cycling country. The most extraordinary part of Froome's story is that he ever got to the Tour de France in the first place.

Well quite 3 Giro, 3 TdF and 3 vuelta has a pleasing symmetry to it.
However if we are saying we are counting 9, there is no way VN > AC.
