Nibali finished 4th at the Giro.
The third week was always going to be the problem for him and his TT isn't what it was but I thought it was a great ride after what happened in his other grand tours in recent times. And it took three very good climbers to beat him. Landa past his best now but the other two in their peak years and Hindley might get even better.

and Thomas, Nibali, Porte, and Valverde unlike Froome has shown something in other races that they could potentially top 10 a GT if it goes right. From end of Tour 2018 to his crash he wasn’t showing anything, to the point he was a joint leader with Thomas and Bernal but the Klöden/Levi to Contador and Armstrong. The Tour isn’t a lesser field of riders.

Can't believe people are actually still debating CF's BS claims and delusional PR talk... heck... some actually still believe what he's letting out of his mouth (regarding his shape/numbers) o_O
This thread is going to be a gold mine (with posts like these) once Froome wins a stage and proves over half of the posts here from the last three years utterly wrong.

Froome was the strongest rider in Dauphine 2019 and was breaking all his PBs on Strava in the training camp just before, the rides are uploaded. He had some early season crashed so his level was low during the prep races but he was already strong in TotA and Tour de Yorkshire.

Not going to happen, he will finish below 100th in the gc. you just dont regain your climbing ability from that type of injury, see beloki, vino. Maybe he will be in a break but he will never win a stage. he will not even finish top 3 even if a break with 4 riders goes in.

Oh yes, strongest rider in the three chill stages. Just because you have amazing numbers in training doesn’t translate to the day and vice versa.

FYI Froome faster than Pinot, Kruijswijk, Woods. Within 10s of Kuss, Uran.
Oh yes, all renowned TT riders.
