This 2025 Tour de Pologne must surely be Chris Froome's best performance in an Israel PT uniform.
After five stages he is only 10mins 9secs off the lead.
Sylvan Adams must be screaming: "Where has this form been for five years!"
Giddy stuff.
That would be the 3rd place in L'Alpe d'Huez, I think.

I think it‘s Stage 16 of that Tour where he finished ahead of Romain Bardet and with Enric Mas from the Peloton.
I dont think that performance was much different from his 3rd at Alpe d'Huez. Pidcock and Meintjes that beat him at Alpe also beat him with 1 1/2 minute from the peloton on this stage. It sounds nice to finish with Mas and ahead of Bardet, but they also had a bad day that day. In the group Froome and Mas finished there were also Lutsenko, Luis Leon and Bob Jungels, and they lost 3 minutes to the best GC-group.

Yes, I see where you are coming from.
3rd on a landmark stage at the Tour is something to shout about.
You are right in that it will go down as his best result for Israel PT, but I've always been a little dismissive of it.
The peloton seemed to be having a day off for some reason and Froome was dragged down a descent by Pidcock, who then beat him by 2mins 6sec on the final climb.

Freeman's ban is over since last December. Get the old crew back for the Vuelta one last time.

I imagine Michelle has got used to the Monaco lifestyle, so I would n't hold your breath waiting from Froomey to retire.
Ok, but c'mon...
The Israel contract was already ludicrous, and even if Froomey was motivated enough to want to continue at 41 y.o. - while definitely not resembling a Valverde or even a Rebellin - there's no way (I hope) someone is crazy enough to give him a substantial paycheck to be on the bike.

One has to assume he'd have better chances to make a decent income with media than pedaling a this point, even though he might not be a natural as G. Thomas.
Otherwise become the embassador or the 'tester' of a brand of bikes or technical clothing.
There are a bunch of jobs for ex-pros, that most of us aren't even aware of.

I doubt there will be many job offers from Disc brake manufacturers marketing departments.

Froomey while collecting that paycheck...
