Curious about the photo finish. Could not see the difference. Might be the same discussion as with Pidcock and van Aert last year.

Looked like a rare mistake by Morkox in the last 2km, being too far down on a narrow twisty run in. Steimle and Van lerberghè did a great position but Morkov messed it up a bit

Better ride today by Groenewegen - I am interested in whether Merlier or Groenewegen can make the final in GW.

For a rider with a rather 'limited' engine, Merlier is shaping up a great palmares. He surely is one of the fastest sprinters around these days. I think a classic race like Gent-Wevelgem or more than one stage in a grand tour will be the highest reachable glory for him.

He's already got the latter, so... definitely reachable.
Or, did you mean more than one stage, in the same GT?

Exactly. I thought about specifying that, but I didn't think it was going to be necessary. Since you could expect me knowing about his GT stage wins. Guess I was mistaken!

That's why I got a little confused at first...

But anyway; on to the racing!
I guess Wiebes is the big favourite, but I'm also curious to see how Norsgaard will do.

I just hope the other teams will put DSM under pressure this time. They didn't in the other races, Wiebes has won this year, and it bit them in their behinds, especially in Nokere Koerse.

Being lazy, sorry, but does anyone know the wind forecast for today? Any chance we might get lucky with some cross wind action to make up for yesterday?

It'll be the same today. Lotte Kopecky expects it to be a boring race.

Looking like most the favourites not caught up in the crash and now in the front group of about 30 or 40 odd riders.
