Also, I think Argiro Ospina and Dayer Quintana live there as well now. Do you know why Ospina didn't ride Castilla y Leon?

yes they do. don't know what's wrong with him. I guess will do madrid and asturias, however movistar are so small now, they barely do any races outside wt. ospina I think will do dauphinee and route du sud similar to quintana last year, but I think no gt as he's too toung

I wrote a while ago on my concerns about Corti and his approach to cycling-specially on how he "ruined" Soler's best years during Barloworld, but Ryo & many here said I was "exaggerating" & he should be praised for putting the team together... well - guess what!!! Guess why Chaves is out and everyone is under performing.....

HE MUST GO:mad:

To be fair, you can't blame him for Chaves crashing and getting injured.

Hopefully his programme will be something like that, yes. He needs to start gaining experience on the continental circuit, as he never raced in Europe before. It's difficult with the Spanish calendar being so drastically reduced.

reason chaves is out is because he crashed and shatted his right collarbone. he needed to be operated and it can't be helped he's not in the giro.

corti was a fine director for westenr riders in the 90s and maybe 2000s. but cycling hasn't sit still. his old approach doesn't work with the colombians, they are horribly undertrained in the cold italian winters. why do you think all other colombians live in spain. corti should be sacked and will be sacked after the giro but with him the whole project will die since corti owns everything. the houses the riders live in, the license, he has all the contacts etc.

it's ironic that when they were colombia es passion they were in great shape under saldarriaga but received no invitations and now it's the other way around.

So with a 15km TTT and 55km ITT that means he'd have to be about the 2nd best climber.

unless rujano is great he should be the best on paper, but will see how form is. till now isn't good and also duarte isn't horrible itt rider, far from it

no that was definitely duarte.

Dont think so I was looking for Duarte aswell as he is in my team in some game. And at first I also thought it was him but then I saw number 84. He was the only rider from Colombia in the group at that moment and that was just before the group fell a part.

Don't worry guys, with Fabio Duarte you never know what to expect. So don't scratch him out yet.

Well - don't you folks find a bit of "coincidence" that Soler was crashing constantly-"regardless his awful bike handling skills"-Under Corti's overview?

Unzue mentioned many times how "weak" & "unhealthy" was Mauricio when he arrived to Movistar, so as soon he started to rebuild him- he begun to show improvement & his "accidents amount" decreased enormously in comparison to the one while in Barloworld.....

Most importantly -Was Froome "underperforming" too due to Corti's guide? what I'm implying here is A PATTERN set by Corti-every time a talented rider is under his care....
