Dan Lloyd has done a brilliant job commentating on the Vuelta, it's a shame he was only covering for Sean Kelly who will be back on today I think.

Yes, well, um, they'll need to be pushin' on......

They need to make the calculation...

That T-Shirt is just amazing.

Yesterday when being asked about the possibility of riders being squeezed out at a choke point he replied "well, eh, yes, it is possibly you may be squez out" Squez? what a word!.... Although nothing will beat his talking about the cow shite all over the road in the tour :)

Love Kirby hyping up Chaves and Dumoulin as overall contenders after no mountain stages and with no team and no experience of contending for a GT GC

Third day in a row Paulo Martins has been saying that Degenkolb has had a mediocre (and at best interesting) season because he didn't perform well in the Tour.

If you think you think your commentators are bad, think twice.

I am surprised to here that people forget how good he is. Yesterday the german commentators even said that he is one of the favorites for the stage.

Haha. I guess we should count ourselves lucky in Sweden. We have the best sports commentator in the country commentating cycling on Eurosport. He rarely makes a single mistake, and when he does he finds a way to correct himself fairly quickly.

I wish I had made a note of Kelly's version of Goncalves: actually made me want to diagnose dyslexia: Gonlavsheck or something similar.

And why did they constantly assert that this Portuguese rider was a native of Murcia. Yes, his team's base is in the area, but that does not make Richie Porte Mancunian.

Was watching French ES today as they cut to an interview with Ashton Eaton who won the decathlon.

The French commentator was supposed to translate. Ashton started telling some long story about how he trains for the 1500m by doing 1200 and then 300 and talked for about 30 seconds.

Instead of actually translating what was being said the commentator waited for Ashton to finish and just said "c'etait dur mais je suis tres heureux"

No effor to do his job, just invented some generic *** hoping it would fly.

Ive seen Kirby do the same many times.

That's what ES do. Thats how they do. There's no effort do their job properly.

It seems like one can be pretty happy with Migels, Leclercq and Rode at Eurosport Germany. They're actually more than decent. Especially Leclercq of course. Migels ain't perfect sometimes, but he's nice to listen to most times.

Neither Plouay or Alberta on Eurosport this week :(

They were both on last year weren't they?

They were, but worse even, don't know if we will be seeing Québec and Montréal because of the US Open.

I hope BMC have payed Kirby good money to keep mentioning Atapuma and subjecting us to this craziness.

Not so much commentary, but why the need to put up that moronic tweet from Tinkov?

No idea. But they have been sharing lots of tweets live this season, a few that I remember even included swearing. LOl.

Share those that make sense, not the inane whinging about ASO when it was the TV moto that hit Paulinho.
