I found the testimony from the imperial college professor amusing. Picked up traces of hct from sweat and water, of course! Keystone cop testing procedures by the Jamaican testers was staggeringly incompetent it's funny.

Or found its way in via the funnel left in the collection container.

Good grief.

Entirely true. So many buy the story that the whole Stilnox issue was a way of dealing with the lifestyle and pressure that simply got out of hand.

None at all, if you accept what you're looking at. It's hilarious how teflon coated high profile swimmers are here. Earlier this week a few different people at work were making all the standard doping comments about the Tour and Nibali winning all three GT's eg: "must take some heavy duty drugs for that etc."

Question how the 4x100m relay team smashed a speedsuit WR though? Half the office shouted me down in seconds
there was a meme about the Chinese Medley swimmer, the 15 or 16 yo girl/woman/female who swam her butterfly leg, or one leg, under a second of the male gold medalist.

someone said she had "hands like buckets".

I can remember Ian Thorpe defending her and talking about her big hands and himself being a world champ at 16. Thorpe really should have been talking about his glutenizing hormone that he was never sanctioned for

So... British swimmers are suddenly beating Aussies left right and centre..?

Are this current crop of Aussies highly rated?

Only one Gold in the 2012 Olympics so I doubt it. I am sure most of the British swimmers will be out of their depth as soon as they race at a global level. Commonwealth Games mean nothing.

Steve Hooker was working as a commentator for host Commonwealth Games broadcaster Network Ten, but has returned home to support his wife, Ekaterina Kostetskaya, after it was announced that she was banned for doping.

She received a two year sanction in a Biological passport case. (ABP Case - IAAF Rule 32.2b Use/attempted use of a prohibited substance/method)

The date of infraction is listed as 30 August 2011, and they met at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

He claims he didn't know of the case, but it sounds a bit strange. She must have known of it, at least if IAAF handles their ABP cases anything like UCI does.

Previously IAAF has given 4 year bans in bio passport cases if the athlete hasn't admitted guilt.

I was watchiing 10 this morning to see if they'd mention it. But they didn't, it was all about "our" sally and how she beat everyone in the heat, as if she'd just won Olympic gold.

It's so incompetent, it makes you wonder if it's brilliant !

JADCO get rightly nailed for not carrying out tests, so when they do start testing, they make sure that they leave loopholes that any barrack room lawyer could drive a coach & four thru !

So even if they do catch someone, the athlete has an easy out.

The Athlete just needs to remember their part of the deal, & not try to sue JADCO & the labs over the positive.

Former 400 meters world champion Amantle Montsho tested positive for methylhexanamine during the CG. The B-samples will be tested on Monday in London.

I have seen more positive tests for methylhexanamine than just about any other drug on the market - incredible.

Its in a whole host of supplements and is of course not against WADA code for OOC.

Simple user error in some cases (as its listed on the ingredients) or cross contamination in the factories. I know if I were a pro athlete I wouldn't trust typical over the counter supplements and there are plenty of warnings from various bodies about it.

Ms Sharp and Mr Vernon should be given honourary membership of The Clinic based on the "quality" of that exchange...

Your post is like an irony pudding with an irony cherry on top. Well done!
