From what I have read, his opinion is he is against doping, but where there is pro sport there are drugs, and as a sponsor he is limited in what he can do to prevent it. He goes on to suggest that any other claim is hypocrasy. He states he would love drug free sport but can't change the whole sport, and that that is a job for the IOC and the sports governors.
Most of his comentry was in response of the crusade (yes this Swedish owned paper likes to rip apart Danish athletes for what ever reason) by BT who also have a financial stake in sales of Hamiltons book, and pay Hamilton for comentary.
He rightly points out the papers financial interests, and their focus on doping being toward cycling only.
