tomorrow should be awesome too. maybe 2-1? doubt it...
Hardly that Froome can beat Contador, but Sky can make a statement team wise with some of their top 10 GC guys.
Send them one by one from far out and leave Tinkoff to think and calculate.

Tinkoff-Saxo would just keep the gap at around 3 minutes and then chase them down. And Movistar/AG2R might help out to protect their podium place/possible podium place.

Everything points towards an epic, thermonuclear, record shattering duel at the Tour. I hope neither crashes nor other uh, events, prevent that from happening.

Especially AG2R, after the Kiri move, might help Tinkoff to control the race. We'll see, of course.

If Sky send a man ahead, Tinkoff-Saxo should be patient and not do anything. Sky's DNA won't allow them to ride wheels in these situations and before you know it, the Sky train will mass at the front and start driving.

If only Sky had T-Mobile's tactical acumen. :D:D:D:D

Sky let Tinkoff do the work up to the final climb earlier, no reason why they won't do it again especially if they send a man up the road. Either way though I don't think tomorrow's stage suits Froome.

Speak for yourself. I for one hope that, uh, other events conspire to prevent either of them from contesting the Tour.

Interesting view of the things is that Froome has neutralized two Contador's gains (tt and Hazzalanas) in one effort. And it was on a steep uphill terrain against Contador free to just follow.

Great result for the upcoming season. I don't think Froome yesterday or AC today were bad looking the gap with the 3rd. Just February.

good showdown. froome strong is also good for alberto. motivates him even harder

Ya I think the rivalry helps both of them.
Very interesting today. When Froome first went AC seemed like he was struggling a good deal. His pedaling looked to heavy....different from just yesterday. He seemed to get a little better as he went, but so did Froome. :)

So they're 1-1 in the mountains...Hopefully more good stuff to come in Tirreno. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, people, but Froome seems to be the only rider who dropped Contador in a duel.
I can't remember if Contador has ever lost half a minute in this manner?
