For the 100th time, the UCI is judge and jury. CAS is populated by lawyers who spend most of their time working for the sports federations. There's no independent judicial system, there's no Bill of Rights or whatever you think applies.

When you get your license from the UCI, it is just one of the many things one must agree.

If the entire UCI was being run for the benefit of one team then for instance a cyclist who crossed the line with part of their bike missing would surely be kicked out and the win awarded to their rival who I do remember came from the same team you claim to be favoured in every race.

You can't even keep your racism under control for 5 seconds to think logically can you?

Please note, there is no such doctrine as 'innocent until proven guilty', it is merely the presumption of innocence, not actual innocence as ordered by a court of law.

Has proven to be an utterly useless leader. His vested interests have meant anything but an independent voice and he has shown himself to be weak and lacking in authority. His silence on the Wiggins episode has been deafening and stinks to high heaven.

Cookson's silence to me proves that is was no coincidence that he was involved in the Sky start up, that his son worked for Sky and that Wiggins and Froome both got TUEs whenever they wanted unquestioning.

Was he happy with the procedural system used by the organisation that he is now the leader of to grant the TUE?

What changes if any does he recommend for the granting of and use of TUE's moving forward?

Should all TUE's be made public?

Does he feel that all teams should be adhering to the same ethical standards by all signing up to the same set of rules? ie why do some teams sign up to MPCC but others won't?

It is amazing that journalists have not mentioned this. The Team he helped set up Sky are floundering and that should be enough for him to come forward and make a statement, but as President of UCI and former head of UK Cycling he should, but no.

If he's sweating, it's because of ASO/Lapartient. This is the guy that was on the management committee since 2009, so he knew plenty before he got the job and he wouldn't have gotten the job if the people with votes didn't think he'd protect the sport at all costs.

Also remember the guy still has Hein Verbruggen as a permanently appointed higher authority
