You should feel stupid if you thought that.

But Aranbarri is likely his second surname so it's only Asier Urionabarrenetxea. Standard Spanish pronunciation rules apply.

Not mentally splitting the first surname into two parts of uriona and barrenetxea makes thing harder than it is, you can find people with one of those halves as surnames too of course.

He could be like Ivan Garcia Cortina, and go by full name.

Nah, he only does that because García is very common. I think Urionabarrenetxea is a bit rarer (apparently, my brain has decided to remember the spelling of the name overnight, so I am ready for him to be the new Valverde).
