Beckham had been mentioned previously and perhaps some of the others, too, but I did enjoy taking a trip down memory lane while looking for the rest. As it turned out, it's more common for attacking players than defenders to share their names with cyclists.

There's Anton Ferdinande in CX, but I tried to get the spelling as right as possible.
Lens Lehmann was another option for the goalkeeper spot.
