Wow, Pooley 2nd fastest after 1 lap, absolute logjam with Hughes, Pooley, Arndt and Villumsen within 2s after 1 lap.

And the lands down under (will) take another victory... Looks like. Hope Ellen can stay in there for bronze. But Pooley and Arndt will prevent that.

to be honest once a rider has ridden for a country I dislike the notion that they can rider for another. really lame imo.

1st for her right now, congrats. Arndt will get her though, looks like.

As for your statement, I don't know. If she's lived there a long time, has the citizenship either through marriage or regular naturalization, than its her good right to change.

I just think its a little weird about how fast its gone. I remember from the Heinrich Haussler story that he needed not to have competed for Germany for a period of over two year before being allowed to ride for Australia. But Villumsen rode for Denmark in '09, and New Zealand last year and now. Was the rule waived for her or something?

Edit: Copenhagen looks great from the chopper

Indeed. I think that once you have competed for one nation you shouldn't be able to compete for another.

Vos has left the turbo a bit late...

3rd checkpoint +44 seconds
Final time +34 seconds

Villumsen really faded over the final section, Vos lost 10 sec to Arndt
