They will use their experience in riding with the pros but it is strange they are here. But I suppose they aren't considered pros nowadays anyway so providing they are under 23 years of age, it's fine. :D

The idea that Brandle is in any different situation then other under 23 riders at PT teams is strange. If he is allowed to race why not Sagan, Howard, Matthews, Degenkolb and many more?

I thought they could if they wanted to?
But I guess they would rider the pro-race.

I thought riders contracted to PT teams could not ride the race.

You're probably right, I'm not to sure.
But Like i said, i doubt they'd wanna race.
Maybe the guys who didn't make the main squad.. but what's the point?

Anyway if brandle can ride, then i agree that is a flaw.

Your correct, if a rider is under 23 years of age and contracted to a World Tour team in that year (so 2011 is this case) they cannot ride the U23 WC RR, or any other championship in the U23 category, they must ride in the elite category.

They don't get to choose, that wouldn't be fair at all. If he is U23 and on a Pro-Conti Team or lower then he can ride in the U23 race, like that french guy in last years U23 RR who rode for Cofidis.

WHat do you have against the time trial?:(
I have a tough decision to make tonight. Watch the U/23 RR or watch my beloved Hawks knock the smile from your face and progress to the Grand Final :D

That doesn't look steep at all, and another chute.

was thinking the same thing - André be a good bet imo then Bang another crash, be good to see the finish again, but looks like a long slight uphill drag.

Strange looking peloton formation, looks like everyone wants to ride in the wind.

I think they're more worried about staying as far as possible from anyone else. And you can tell why.

Apart from some bends and the wind. This circuit is a little uninspiring.
