Fascinating look at cycling in Copenhagen. I'm starting a thread about it in the Road General sub-forum. I'd like to see Los Angeles set up like this.

Dumoulin is kinda stuck at the level he had last year. Good, but not good enough. Top 10 is nice enough tho.

Quaade has saved some energy for the last leg. Getting time on Durbridge it looks like from the GPS readings.

OMG the camera men are intent on NOT showing anythign interesting at all. Damn they havn't been told what to film, thats for sure.

Quaade takes silver. Congratulations to Australia. Nice ride by all their riders, although unlucky that Hepburn crashed - he would have taken the silver medal if he hadn't.

Dumoulin maintaining his 6th place or so. 5-6 for NL then. :( Shame after the 4th earlier today.

But fantastic day for the Aussies. Three medals including two golds.

are there any reference points to Phinney, Sergeant, Dowsett and Kwiatowski this year - presumably all would be a chance to win if not riding pro

Dowsett beating Quaade by a few seconds at Post Danmark is the only one that comes to mind

Tbh our only medals will probably come from the women again. If Hofland was selected for the U23 men ther would be a good chance. But no.

According to the Danish commentators the wind has picked up a bit again over the last hour, just as a fyi.

On a circuit the wind doesn't play a massive difference.
