Froome will not win the tour, his team is to weak.

He will have 3-4 minutes after 2 TT's but will lose 5+ minutes on some mountain stage when his team will fail again. He can get away maybe once more, alone against the rest, but at some point he will collapse because his team will offer to many opportunities riding so bad like yesterday.

As long as Movistar and Saxo dont take advantage of itand instead ride against eachother it wont be a problem.

I more expect that (Froome) will mentally collapse. On the next stage he is left alone he will maybe survive once more, but when that will happen again there are big chances it will break.

Valverde and Contador are no big deal also, but at least they have some mental comfort being backed up.

And you can easily put 5+ minutes on a guy that collapses.

People think Sky performed and act yesterday by melting down completely, i think that's how much they can, poor form and poor squad selection.

2 days ago when Froome won Sky gave everything and even than they didnt looked strong. The other teams were just sleeping on that first mountain stage.

He will have a "jour sans" somwhere along the route and unless his team make a miraculous return to form there are plenty strong teams to take advantage. Movistar rode tempo yeterday. iF They had broken up the pace it would have been very different.

They still decimated the field
As opposed to movistar who deployed sky train tactics and still left a group of 20

You're being too good on Velasco jens...Actually even if he was alone yesterday, Froomey looked mighty strong, and even if a bit nervous initially, he always looked in total control.

I'd say on wednesday it's game over for everyone else. Let the battle for the 2nd and 3rd place begin!

The fact that they did isolate Froome a long way from the finish and still could not put time into him does not augur well for the others in the second week. Movistar and Saxo were in the perfect position and could not take advantage of it. They just took Porte out of contention who was never going to win the race anyway. Any time that Froome makes on Wednesday just makes their job even harder and there is no doubt he will take good time on all of his rivals exxcept maybe Contador and Quintana and that is only a maybe.
