No.

The ban of a rider won't affect anyone elses points. With the Contador/Cunego example, Cunegos 2010 value won't change. It would be impossible to do so because it first and foremost would be a logistic nightmare and secondly we can't make everyone change their team after the season has started.

Contadors results from everything other than TDF remain. Why would you change PN?

And im not saying we should change. That would be impossible. Im just saying that Ham n Eggs victory is tainted.

The self proclaimed future winner of the game, ingsve, is still no where to be seen and his 59th place is nothing to be proud of so far

Originaly, there was a very early deadline and a limit on entrants. The problem was that hugo could not accept too many people as it would prove difficult to maintain keep scores etc.
When the deadline closed there were only 34 or so entrants. The teams were published. On December 9th, that was how the game was going to be played out.

Hugo then found away to incoprorate far greater numbers in the game. So the borders reopened and allowed anyone else who wanted to join by 31st december. The vast majority of people entered their teams in this space. Those who entered at this time had the advantage of far more time, and several super teams came up in this period.

I know you didnt have too much time to select your squad either, and not everyone made use of their advantage (see Wiggins_fan)

But when i say early group, i mean the original 33 (or so).

I have already said that I will claim victory if i come top of this list

Why are you doing your own selective updates. I'm due another 70 odd points from the greatest sprinter in the world in the next update (although in practice it will be 120 after he wins the next 2 stages).

Its not my own selective update. I gave a very insignificant 3 points each to roundabout and ingsve so that roundabout doesnt complain that hes got 0.

Otherwise its the hugo update from 4 days ago.

Theres no hype about my team. All my analysis came after my team was submitted. In fact several of the guys i have identified as superbuys i dont even have.- Christian Vandevelde, Stefan Schumacher, Riccardo Ricco. And efimkins retirement significantly weakened my team, before the game even started.

I have repeatidly said that i believe "Ham and eggs" to be the favourite

Sorry i dont think you will finish top 10. You could and it wouldnt be a surprise, but i think 20-30

1 As i said then, picking Janez will cost you. Janez score last year was 950. That is a lot of money to spend on someone like Brajkovic. Who cq wise had a brilliant season last year with several podium finishes a stage win, days in yellow and overall in Dauphine, top 6 in Romandie and Catalunya and 11th in PN.

If he focuses on Tour this year as many expect, then even if he has an epic tour and comes 5th, well the guy who did that last year only got 707 and thats a big if.

Either way i cant see him matching this years total.



2 But more to the point, you dont have too many superbuys. No CVV no Schumacher no Di Luca no Kashechkin no Rujano no Ballan. You do have Gerrans and Soler + Dolphin and Barbie who everyone has.

And there are about 10-15 posters who do have their rosters filled with these superbuys.

3 Finaly,, remember, the main races weve had so far are TDU and Aussie nats.

But there are 8 more tdus out there, where Australians will not be posting such high scores, and in those races other posters will be getting similar scores. Thats before we look at the GTS and Classics and Worlds.

SO i dont think PC Utter will get top 10. Like i said, it wouldnt be an upset if he did, but i dont think you will.
