Well, nvpacchi has sent his list already. I will reserve spots for you and jens_attack then, but then I'm sorry to say that I will have to refuse anymore participators as it will take too much of my time unfortunately.

I'm looking forward to see everyone's team. I like the fact that even before all the lists were in we had well over 200 riders spread over the teams. There should be a fair amount of diversity. It should also make me pay a bit more attention to races I might not watch otherwise... similar to how I pay attention to NFL games I really have no stake in due to fantasy football.

Alright, I guess it's OK to post the teams now since we only miss The Hitch, and I guess a few are eagerly anticipating seeing the other teams

...and as another excuse for posting it, I do have to see if it works at some point

I see Libertine and I were the only ones who bothered sorting our picks alphabetically... If everyone had done that it would've been so much easier to compare.

Also, Heinrich Haussler is the most picked rider... One or two more selections even than Pellizotti, which surprised me.

EDIT: NOONE else selected Johnnie Walker...?!?!? You guys should be ashamed. That man deserves a place in every team on his name alone.

I had mine listed by value, most expensive first, like most internet shops.
There are a couple of regular buys. I noticed Fred Kessiakoff was quite popular.
HH had a lousy season, so everybody thinks he's a done deal.

Also is it jsut me or are there a lot of dutch people joining in on this, I mean look at the amount of Dutch riders that are chosen

I knew that I wanted to include Ricco, Anton, Haussler, Nuyens, Terpstra and a few others and then I just added some riders untill the value, magically, was almost exactly 7500 without thinking too much about the prices.

Although he wasn't exactly cheap (426 points), I am rather surprised that, considering he's about to ride the élite calendar for the first time and considering just how good he's been in Italy, nobody else at all thought of Przemysław Niemiec.

Although he wasn't exactly cheap (426 points), I am rather surprised that, considering he's about to ride the élite calendar for the first time and considering just how good he's been in Italy, nobody else at all thought of Przemysław Niemiec.

He was actually one of the riders I considered, but in the end I think 426 points was too much when you must consider that he will have to make a lot more points next season for him to be worth it.

By the way, I really like the look of your team from a "realistic" point of view. There seems to be much more of a "theme" in some way than in any other team submitted.

I took a look at him, but I didn't think he'll book much improvement, CQ-wise, even if he's going to a ProTour team next year for the first time.

I started with Duarte, Rujano, Ricco, Pelli and Txurruka.

Then thought about who had a bad season this year and thus included Vandevelde, Haussler, Soler, Kasechkin, Steegmans and Taaramae. (I know the last one did not have a bad season perse, but he could do much better)

After that added some Dutch riders, most notably Mollema, Kruijswijk, Bol and Slagter.

After that looked at some of the young guys, choose Van Garderen, Viviani, Matthews, Phinney, Boivin, King, Dowsett Debusschere, Roe Talansky, Niermann

Then realized I ahd a boatload of points over and included Cav, Modolo, Keukeleire and Spilak

Then due to the debate here started looking for a particular rider and included Stybar

I have Francesco Ginanni and Ignatas Konovalovas as exclusives... And the aforementioned Johnnie Walker of course. I knew all three were long-shot picks when I made them, so I'm not really surprised I have them all to myself.
