Gilbert scored 117 points at the same point last season, this year he has 379. Not quite 380, but a very good gain so far.

Ah, I don't use CQranking a lot and the first race I saw him score points was G-W in 2010, but I guess they work with a one year period.

Gilbert's 2010 results for the next 4 weeks:
25/04/2010 1.HIS1 3 Liège - Bastogne - Liège 145
21/04/2010 1.HIS2 6 Flèche Wallonne 67
18/04/2010 1.PT2 1 Amstel Gold Race 220
14/04/2010 1.1 5 Brabantse Pijl 32
4/04/2010 1.PT1 3 Ronde van Vlaanderen 145
31/03/2010 2.HCs 2 Driedaagse De Panne - Koksijde, Stage 2 : Zottegem - Koksijde 15
28/03/2010 1.PT2 3 Gent - Wevelgem 105

I'd be surprised if he manages to still be 260 points up on last year at the end of April, but we'll see!

Ballan (4th) 132 + Van avermaet (9th) 74 + O'Grady (10th) 63 + Haussler (18th) 25 + a few others.

At least 294 at MSR + all my points at tirreno. I think i will be the 2nd top scorer of the week.:)

There'll be 13 happy Goss Households tonight; now I just have to hope all of my 13 bother to finish and pick up their 5 points.
10, I think.

Are any of you guys not from Australia?

I know if he was Polish i would have picked him.

I have him as well and I'm not an Aussie, just figured he would be a really good bet for 1000+ with Greipel gone.

379 from MSR for me. Goss, Ventoso, Haussler, Gusev, and the 5 pointers.

Measly 205 points for me from MSR, though Steegmans Huta and Bos scoring in 1.1 races that flew over our heads while we were preparing for the best MSR ever might help limit the damage.

Microdose has Evans and Goss, + he has Ogrady and Haussler. I see about 650 points there alone. Might register a best week score so far.

Ugh, this season is just torture so far... when Ricco was out I thought it'd be a fun gritty challenge to try to hang on to some kind of top tier, but then it's just been a string of bad. 191 today, mostly from Ballan, but I had Boonen, Haussler, Gusev and Modolo in the front group, which I thought would be some good points with all (but probably Gusev) making top 10... instead, I get Ballan, Haussler's meagre points (which everyone has anyway), and a couple of extra points for the 27,28,29 guys... thanks fellas.

Just hoping Stef Clement gets into a key breakaway and wins Catalunya or some other miracle to make things a bit better.

As i have about 480 and i'm in the 70's in the competition the best this week should have about 800

Cadel got 305 i think. Goss got 290

Ogrady 63 Haussler 25

Brown 40 for Nokere Korse

I count 9 australians getting 5 points (though some might not be on micro's team)

Another 8 or so in Tirreno.

I make that between 800 and 830 points for microdose depending on how many of the 5 pointers he had.

Man I really missed the boat with Haussler. Forgot all about him.

16 members of my team have yet to score  4 of them won't score any this season, and also Ricco.

Think the Ardennes + Giro/Tour is when things should get better.

Looking at his team it should be just about 800 give or take a few points

That's about right, haven't totaled it up exactly myself. G Brown also got third in Nokere Koerse.

EDIT: I think it will be 780.

Well I'm glad I swapped out Cancellara and Gilbert for other riders. It would have been a bit embarrassing to sweep the podium today.

Bloody typical of me.

I actually considered picking him as i thought he would be Greipel 2011 but decided 600 wasnt worth the risk.

A question though.

I am Australian and there is a bias toward Australians and also BMC in my team. I picked my team in one hit and from memory he was an obvious choice. An up and coming sprinter plus a bit more in a team that specializes in helping sprinters and is losing there second best sprinter. The riders I picked in my team mostly because they were Australian would be Tim Roe (South Australian as well seeing I live in Adelaide), Wesley Sulzburger and Leigh Howard and probably Michael Matthews a bit. Goss less so than them. That said I have Taylor Phinney, Ramunas Navardaukas, Matthias Brandle, Steven Kruijswijk, Daniel Oss, Peter Stetina, Fabio Duarte, Carlos Betancourt, Rigoberto Uran and Denis Galimzyanov, so young riders from a variety of nations for better or worse.
Goss only had 12 of his 634 2010 points at this stage last year, 808 this year. Wonder how long he can keep it up.

318 from MSR plus 80 from Steegmans at Nokere Koerse and I think 100 points from Tirreno. So 498 from the week so far. I don't have anyone in Cholet - Pays De Loire on tonight so it is probably it for the week.

jury's still out on Devolder, could be costly non-season if he doesn't get the next 3 weeks right ;)

I totally bombed. 63 points mostly from finishers with 5,
Haussler got me 25 points and was my best scorer.

My other team in the velogames comp was useless as well believe it or not.
