Cheers.

Podium

1 The Hitch 288
2 Sasquatch 281
3 whittashau 268

third ( i think) stage in a row that im on the podium. So close both times, I was begining to feel like Cadel after losing last week by a point, but like Vino, i get the top step on the next attempt.

Damn you, Contador and RFEC for already costing me 32 points. *shakes fist*

But seriously, my relatively good result is masked by the fact that i am one of the very few who has Menchov.

Edit: make that one of two people unless i missed someone.

Woo 222 points! I have little idea who got them though.

Oh Menchov + Cunego and some others I guess.

Somehow I was able to keep my position from last week but with all those sick/injured guys on my team I'm not expecting many points this week :(

My sick/injured/banned list:

DESSEL Cyril (Injured)
HOOGERLAND Johnny (Flu)
PELLIZOTTI Franco (??)
PHINNEY Taylor (Injured)
RABON Frantisek (Flu)

Dont mean to be crying like a be-yatch here but 5 guys is almost 20% of my team

I have a 600 points retired-handicap. Oh and someone taking up a rider spot who doesn't look like racing again this season. :D

Pellizotti gone for two years. Sad for those that have picked him. Not so sad for the rest of us. :D:D:D:D

Pellizotti's out. It doesn't really matter, but it's still another bad decision I made. Next year I'm only signing completely clean riders.

Pellizotti is now a loss for this year. Can't ride until May of 2012.

So many of us are now down 60 points... not as bad as Ricco, but still annoying for taking a risk.

Still feel like it was worth the risk for 60 points... but it stings.

I don't know... di luca looks like he'll end up being a great buy. I made the mistake thinking Pellizotti was in the clear when apparently it was still under review.

If a rider is low cost due to coming back from a suspension but is cleared to ride... it's probably a risk you need to take in order to win. If a rider ISN'T low cost (Ricco)... it's a bit tougher decision. The old saying about leopards and spots you know.

Okay, so Pellizotti looks like he wasn't a superbuy after all. Whatever, he only cost 60 points.

This confirms it. CQ game IS the forum. Noone even cares about starting threads anymore.

Hugo, you are a hero for starting up this game. I move that Hugo be awarded the first, honorary, Legend of the Forum title.

Going for dopers was still worth it (at this point) for those who picked logically, though that could yet change.

Sure if you spent 700 on Ricco maybe not but Sella and Di Luca seem to make up for 60 on Peli. Worse for me is that Valjevic is out making 3 riders who wont score.

Seeing as 60 people had him its not that big a loss, and 60 points for someone who had the potential for hundreds of points was a pick worth making

That obviously has to go to ACF first.

Please. I like ACF, but what Hugo has done here is actually a service to the forum. A highly meritorious service at that. That should count for more than simply being the resident village kook.

Finally my sprint team gets a trifecta, without the Miss' too.

Goss 104 from payback, will be in the black after G-W.

Apparently I chose the wrong ones. Ricco and Delfino instead of Sella and Di Luca. I guess the jury is still out on Schumi.

There goes the rest of my team:

Ricco out
Pellizotti out
Contador back (thus making the SBS riders I have worth fewer points)
Plaza Molina with a broken leg

I just hope to gain the 7500 points I spend now...

Oh well, at least I can root for the riders I like and enjoy then.
