Thanks for that.

Lachlan Stevens who used to play for Queensland. The one rule change I like in the Ryobi Cup is the rule that the latest you can take the batting PP is from overs 36-40, instead of from 46-50 like you used to see.

On another note, I'm amazed that Nathan Rimmington hasn't played for Australia in ODI or T20, he's pretty under-rated for mine, and is very handy with the bat.

It's an ICC rule change, also followed in internationals nowadays. PP can be taken from 16-40 overs I think.

On Rimmo, I'd want to see him in ODIs too. The guy is a yorker specialist (when on form) and way better than some of the others like Laughlin.

I'm not happy, my flat mate gets free tickets to the Test match tomorrow through his boss (he is a storeman at Woolworths and his boss got it from one of the drinks reps) and he's not a big cricket fan, ie he will watch during the Ashes but not give a **** about 90% of the time, and I would love to go up tomorrow, but can't afford to.

What a **** (you know, the four lettered word that starts with a 'c' and ends with a 't').

Bad luck, did he reject the tickets? If so, Burn the witch!

Brendan Taylor wins Zimbabwe's cricketer of the year, Keegan Meth is the bowler of the year.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/zimbabwe/content/story/542905.html

South West Rhinos (184/2) beat Mashonaland Eagles (177/3) by 7 runs in a brilliant match.
Taylor, Wessels and Ballance scored fifties for the Rhinos. Stuart Matsikinyeri and Trego scored 50's for Mash Eagles.

He's going.

I'm not confident we will get a full day's play in with some rain forecast:

Ive only just flicked it on but is the pitch a little green? or is it just overcast up there? There seems to be a truckload of movement (in the over or so ive only seen) and well Aus bowlers don't really move the ball.....but i guess it is a brand new ball though

Bad luck.

Remote and TV currently hate each other. It works on other TVs but not mine. Is there a problem with ABC grandstand, even that's not working on the net.

Got a radio link. Thank goodness for radiosport.co.nz.

What happened to McCullum?

Starc came around the wicket and McCullum played a cut shot by hit it straight to Warner at point. Not a great shot. Now Williamson is gone and NZ are in trouble at 3/78.

I'm amazed Williamson got a Test century in India because Williamson never looked comfortable against Lyon and with his shuffle and nudge habit he looked like a walking wicket.

Everyone gets a century in India (Ashwin). McCullum got a double:eek:, so it's not saying that much. That said, he looked very good here.

Taylor gone, Pattinson's first test wicket. Good bowling in the build up to the wicket.
