Dravid get's his 36th Test century. What a player. It's going to seem weird when the day comes that Dravid and Tendulkar both retire.

Great player indeed. 36 centuries, that's just ridiculous. The greats Raina and Kohli will come in.:D
I'd personally want Pujara and Rahane.

50 for Laxman, he's getting on too. Kohli may well be in my future Indian team.

How long do you think all three (Dravid-SRT-Laxman) will keep on going for?

I don't know. I thought that Tendulkar would retire from ODIs if India won the world cup. Looking at their ages and the future tours, India host Australia in March 2013 and it's followed by what should be the World Test Championships (though there are rumours that the Champions trophy may be resurrected instead of the Test Championships). A successful time there may mean that they could retire (considering good form right the way through).

This match is dull as can be. The match should start at 8 am. With the current time, there is no chance of early swing and light fading starts from 2:30pm. The pitch is unbelievably easy for the batsmen and the bowling lacks any quality whatsoever (Bishoo has the yips). The captaincy is poor, the batting is good and this is dull. Defecting to Pakistan Sri Lanka.

Edit: Gold from Dujon. The curator's 80 year's old.
Dujon: At 80 years the curator has more life left in him than the pitch.

Dravid gone, great innings. Not a wicket taking ball from Kraigg Brathwaite

Good signs for New Zealand ahead of their upcoming tour with Tim Southee playing his way into the NZ team with 7/36 for Northern Districts in their FC game against Wellington, and Kane Williamson coming in at 3 and is 76* off 105 balls.

Wellington's batting isn't the best (they still have Papps, goodness me) but their bowling is pretty high quality, so it must've been a good innings from Williamson.

WA chase a mammoth 363 and won by 5 wickets.

This has to be the first time in a decade that this insipid team has managed to pull off a victory as challenging as this one.

Harsh but true, they've done nothing for quite some time in the Shield.

Anyone know how Cam Boyce is coming around? He took 6/181, the only time I saw him in Shield cricket in the final of the Sheffield Shield.

Sri Lanka are crawling, first 50 off 61 balls second fifty in 120 balls in an ODI.

Prats, the World Test Championship has been delayed upto at least 2017. This remarkably positive move for cricket comes thanks to ESPN Star, who hold the rights for the ICC events in India and Sourh East Asia.

"I am afraid that [the Test championship] is no longer going to happen in 2013. At the last board meeting we decided the first opportunity to play the Test championship is 2017. I am disappointed it is not going to take place sooner but it is a reality of the commitments we have already got through to 2015."

It will be replaced by the Champions' Trophy (a pointless trophy if ever there was one). Why even allow such *******s into decision making, it's the single worst decision I have seen. It's so close that Aamer, Butt and Asif can come back and play.

I'm interested in the Otago attack, Steve Finn is playing for them for the moment and there is Neil Wagner (born in South Africa) who I tip will get a Test cap when he qualifies for New Zealand, and last season took a staggering five wickets in one over against, you guessed it, Wellington.

5 in an over! wow. New Zealand cricket does some funny things like Bert Vance conceding 77 in an over. How has Finn's form been? He's definitely one of the fastest bowlers nowadays.

So what's the score? 3/136. Few minutes later, what's the score? 9/136. Crazy.
I think Shield teams wouldn't do badly to sign a couple of overseas players now, there aren't many quality players there.

Weird weather today but it's gets dark-ish around 3pm every time, unless it''s mid summer (April-May)

The 5 wickets in an over by Wagner match followed by a general observation from my extremely articulate and definitely not disconnected mind.

Williamson scores a career best 252*

http://www.espncricinfo.com/new-zealand-domestic-2011/engine/current/match/526681.html

Guptil continues his form in Zimbabwe with a century v Canterbury and Dean Brownlie who made his Test debut v Zimbabwe scored a career best 171.

That match must be as boring as the test match now. Jesse Ryder triple hundred to follow in the second innings. 16 internationals are playing there and only one side's dominating.

Brownlie played for WA in the under 17 & 19 levels.

Away from that, it's a bit of a disgrace that Marlon Samuels is playing cricket after his match fixing issues.
