Prior played a shot Haddin would play in this situation and lobs the ball to cover off Ajmal and England are now 9 down.

EDIT: All out for 72. That was pretty spineless.

wow...just saw the england score when i went to the crapper and whipped out my iphone turned on the old Cricbuzz ap and bam!! England all out for 78...WTF

Nice team turnaround from 12 months ago by Pakistan....good on them

Credit to Pakistan - thoroughly deserved series victory. England deserve every bit of criticism that I am sure will be directed there way in the media over the next few days. Truly dreadful.

Bogan?

Why do England have to make it so annoyingly difficult for me to be a fan of them? Bowling a team out for 99 is fantastic. To then be 6 down for pretty much the same score is infuriating (but if I'm honest, what I expected as soon as I saw the score at tea - 19/2). So low is my confidence in England's batting that I would argue that honours are about even atm (although that might be doing a disservice to the batting of Broad and Swann so far this tour), and given that England will be batting last, if ****stan keep England below 150, and can then set England anything around 100+ to win, ****stan are probably slight favourites. Not something I'd thought I'd be saying with Pakistan 21/5 as I was eating my breakfast this morning!

Finally India won something lol:rolleyes:. Any australia has fielded a pretty young and weak team for the t20 series. India are not different as world champions they till suck every where outside of india.

The fact that the cricketers talk to the commentators during the match, have fireworks, dancers & music between every boundary shows how bogan it is. It is cricket for guys who should be playing baseball instead of cricket. The cricketers that play it are either doing it for the money and/or are just 'has been' cricketers like Brad Hogg (who seems to laugh when he is hit for six).

Not a fan of T20 then I take it?! Certainly not as good as test cricket but it's not all bad imo.

In the test, England bowled out for 141 for a lead of 42. In their second dig, Pakistan are now 16-1. Still not confident about England's chances at all

Azhar finally goes for 157 - well played. Hopefully, England will learn the lessons of watching him (and Younis) bat, but I doubt it. Lead currently 321 with 9 wickets down.

Pakistan all out 365, so England need 324 to win. About 17 overs left in the days play... I imagine the odds on England reaching the close without loss are somewhere between non existent and zero

Though I'd drop in for a minute.. been hanging out with the cool kids and haven't been in these parts for a while.

Anyway... I can remember having a little tete a tete with an old Aussie basher a while back.

4th, and not even close to 3rd.

We've beaten you perfectly comfortably home and away, and we'll do it again when you next come knocking.

If by A game you mean above average form, then your statement is clearly false. England would win on average form, and they'd win more often than not against the Aussies even with poor form. Your team just isn't very good anymore.

No-one's denying you used to have 2 great players. The point is you don't have any now.

It's almost sad watching Ponting struggle on, diluting his average like crazy, so far past it he can't even see it anymore. But then he's still better than all his would be replacements.

One day cricket is not cricket.

Gee Whiz.. where to start? Since your gloating... England have lost 3-0 to the Paks, Aussies have beaten India 4-0 (I know... who doesn't do that?), Ponting has increased his average, Michael Clarke has made a double and triple ton and we have plenty of bowlers taking wickets, couple of good young uns hurt ATM who should be handy on an Ashes tour next year too.

Current rankings paint a different picture from when we last spoke... we're coming! ;)

Good luck in Sri Lanka and India... you'll need it. Remember to bring the A game you forgot to bring to Dubai ;)

Oh.. and Greenedge won the TDU... but of course that doesn't count... Bwahaahaha. Seeya. Hopefully Cav drops that weight he's carrying in Qatar?

Im not even Aussie but I love the australian cricket team. Such an exciting team to watch. Fastest bowling in the world, Hardest Hitting, undoubtably best fielders in the world. I hope the destroy the indians and srilankans in the CB triseries.

And yet we beat you home and away with relative ease.

We had our worst series in years, and you had your best.

And yet even taking that in to account, we're 1st, and you're 4th.

India ties with Sri Lanka at 9-236 each in the One Day Series in Australia in an exciting match with three runs hit off the last ball, but then found out there was a 5 ball over and hence could have had an additional ball to win the match. The 5 ball over was missed by two on field umpires, a third umpire, the match referee, and the scorer. India have been amazingly magnaminous about the error which could have potentially cost them a win, which is great to see with some of their muscle flexing in previous series.

BCCI to claim a conspiracy and recall the team in 3...2...1...

South Africa touring us should result in a 'whatwoorsh' for the visitors. They're just streets ahead of everybody else at the moment. Any country that can crush the likes of India and Sri Lanka in their backyard are outstanding, not even Australia during the glory days of the Waugh and early Ponting captancies could do that. Though I guess they have been helped by both India and Sri Lanka vastly regressing as opposed to where they were a decade ago.
