Wiggins noticed that EBH tried to join a breakaway so he bridged up to them and called EBH back to the bunch :p

in 2011, we would've said this was perfect for Gilbert
In 2011, everything that had hills even remotely close to the finish was perfect for Gilbert.

I think Gilbert will win ( assuming all sprinters are dropped ). If not i shall say Matthews to beat Degenkolb.

Gilbert
Gerrans
LLS
Vanendert
Inglinsky
Evans

Voeckler or Rolland to attack like crazy.

I really hope Gilbert can get a win soon, to boost his confidence.
Hope he can find back his legs.

3 Cat 2s, I don't see any sprinters making it to the finish line today,

Moncoutié takes off, wonder when Live TV will start, RAI Sports 2 will be first again I suppose.

Four riders in the lead: Kern (EUC), Kadri (ALM), Sarmiento (LIQ) and Moncutié (COF).

They might let this group go away?

They only lost 27s yesterday though, hardly making room for getting in the break. I'd be surprised if they gave Kern too much leeway tbh.

So are the other French guys it seems, Kadri 1st, Kern 2nd and Moncoutie 3rd over the KoM.
