Shame if Wiggins has been one minute faster he would have eliminated Sep Van Marke from the time limit:p

Evans will be a lot better at the Tour. Wiggins maybe a little. ACF isn't scared (and that's a first).

Why? He's already taken masses of time out of him. We have mountain stages coming up. I don't think catching him was his main concern here.

He tried to catch him and he didn't quite have the legs...but he took massive time out of him. Man, nationalism really does blind people, doesn't it?

Fantastic ride by Wiggins. We've seen these exceptional performances in the Dauphiné before though, the question is whether he can repeat it in the Tour.

Well, we don't really know how good Wiggins could have been in the Tour last year. Nothing we can do but wait and see I suppose.

Can English natives please indicate what's wrong with the grammar in this sentence, because it doesn't sound right, but I can't put my finger on it.

If you say "a torrent download," I think it sounds a bit better. That way "Time trials" and "download" are the same part of speech.

Yes that would have been awesome , especially since he has been pretty sick and had to go to the sh!tter during yesterday's race a few times...

No once he already knew he had the stage and a big win, there was no point wasting energy just to gain that little bit extra. We have mountain stages to come. You're the person that made lots of claims about Evans the other the day so I don't trust your judgment.

This is good for evans.
He will be exactly where he was last year at the tdf.
His ride today was very comparable to his ride last year in the dauphine.
Plus he had to ride for most of the time without a water bottle.

We did see him lose time on a few occasions to Evans before he crashed out, though.
