Not really, he knew it would makemno difference to Yates' time gap and world tour points are good

probably 1 or 2 seconds,he lead-outed the pack pretty hard, and we are in modern where 1 or 2 seconds are a lot:(

Solid move by Yates and Kelderman on great stage.
Sure there are some clueless riders in the favorites group, but who can blame them. They race so little. Lol.

And Spilak, what a comeback in the heat.

Stage: 8 out of 10.

Would probably have been 10 out of 10 with 6 man teams.

Yates would've been 2 places higher on GC if not for Impey...

You think he wudda got 10 secs lol?! Impey knows a lot more about tactics than u couch potatoes. He waved the moto away coz he hoped they would get a decent gap, when it got to the finish and they were only a couple of secs clear he sprinted for 4th place because of the world tour points on offer. Made prob no difference to yates' gap

Impey is the fastest sprinter in that group, so ofcourse it makes difference to Yates his gap.

Just checked the wt points system. He got 1 point lol. Better than nothing i guess lol

Hero's of the day:
-Contador, this is why we need a good contador in the TDF
-Kelderman, racing smarts, saving his attack for when sky is tired.. good move
-Yates, same, good timing

morons of the day:
-Jurgen Vandenbroeck, what are you doing? concerned yates takes your precious 4th place. Seriously, please retire Jurgen
-Astana, well except Fugslang. Rest of them were sometimes pulling.. for what?
-Daryl Impey. Nice sprint there buddy, took at least 2s of Yates lead. LOL.

Astana had numbers but could not do anything maybe Nibali was not feeling good and was suffering

Both Nibali and Kangert not near their best yet. Maybe if Astana had ridden for Fuglsang only it could have been better, but I think they like the 3 guys in top10 GC as it is.

So someone who races and gains a few seconds can be a hero (Yates, Kelderman) or a moron (VDB) depending on, er, what? The effort VDB did was to reduce the gap to Kelderman, so also done for time gain.

Double standards galore.
