Not better than Richie Porte apparently, because Porte is closing that gap fast.

Port is riding at his max. AC is not. But Yeah, unfortunately it looks like they are closing it down

Yep they're closing it down. Yellow jersey group is getting smaller and smaller.

I was 100% sure Contador wouldn't do anything on this stage, this is why i'm a fan of him i guess lol

A couple of days ago Porte was getting dropped by sprinters, now he makes up a minute on Contador on a single climb. Impressive improvement.

Anyway Froome's now more vulnerable for the last 20k, only Porte and Nieve left and Porte must be cooked.

Most impressive thing is that Spilak seems to have preserved his own gap pretty well.

Thats the thing about Porte, and the reason he might never be a realt GT contender himself, he always have that one day where he loses big time

Had this ended with a real descent he would have made it. Good prep for the Tour though and gutsy move.

Nice to see Conti stretch his legs. Even if he doesn't succeed, it's good to show Froome and even more his domestiques that it's going to be a hard TdF.

He tried in a descent in Le Tour 2013 and sadly he crashed.
