Now ok, there's no way sky is gonna ride in that leadgroup. Astana guys aswell not.

A lot of sandbagging will happen. VDB2 will barely ride.

But seriously how did they let this group ride? Wtf lol

Sky's 'brilliant' tactics at work again :D
Every time it's like they're trying to throw the race away on purpose

Right, it's not like Froome has a real chance of winning of the overall despite the close gap.

Hah at people wanting Sky to ride for Contador's benefit. ****ing typical.

These threads in the last week have been full of people talking about Contador mind games and how he won't attack because it's more powerful to just shadow blah blah blah.

A demonstration today of a crap Saxo team unable to defend a jersey would be quite funny.

So Froome losing a chance to win the dauphine is a succes for Sky? Great tactics.

Westra, Bagot, Gougeard, Peraud, Gallopin, Lightart and Hesjedal can really sacrifice themselves for their leader in the breakaway.

Anyone with brains would ride to protect 2nd.

They're currently trading 2nd overall for maybe a top 10 and maybe a stage win. As stupid goes, it ranks pretty high

One of the craziest breakaway i ever seen :eek:Maybe Sky just settled for a stage win if Froome is not good enough.

Eh, I thought only the win counts and **** those guys defending their GC place?

But ok, it looks like they are helping.

Can't believe other teams didn't take advantage of this in the past

If Froome doesn't feel well enough to challenge Contador for the win, it makes sense for him to not chase the break. It's not like 2nd or 4th or 10th makes much of a difference to him.

Is sky gonna pull back some of the guys in the leadgroup?

They don't need to if they can bring the gap back to 1 minute. Then Froome can go FR at the end to go to his team.

That's very true but the thing is that sky went crazy in the beginning, right? Whats the point of doing that when your leader doesnt feel good enough?

That would be ***

Wait, what, did they go full gas at the start of the stage?

Climbing to Les Saisies, Chris Froome has attacked with three team-mates: Vassil Kiryienka, Danny Pate and Geraint Thomas. Alberto Contador accompanies them with no team-mate. Sébastien Reichenbach is also up there. The peloton is 55 seconds behind those counter-attackers.
