So where are Westra an Porte? I guess they are in the Froome-Contador group, no?

Both dropped back to 2nd group. Sky still has 2 and Astana has Kangert in front group.

Froome group playing around at the moment. Porte ridng away Lopez and Bakelants. Given up on GC and trying for stage?

The usual tactics. Send 2 up front, Froome jumps to them, hopefully without Contador.

How embarrassing for the rest of the Tinkoff-Saxo "helpers." They have had zero responsibility for work the whole week, have been completely absent during crunch time during each stage, and the one time they need to at least show *some* support for Contador, they fall apart less than half way through the stage.

They should be reasonably rested compared to Sky, for instance, and I realize it is not the 'A' team, but presumably these are still professional riders.

Well, Valgren is a first year pro same as Beltran, I think Sørensen has been ill and everybody knows Sutherland is always useless anyway. Paulinho is rarely good so that leaves Hernandez and Pires I guess.

I'm sure everyone did what they could and did not suck on purpose. If it were violent attacks it would have been hard for any team.
