Just saying this once: results in the dauphine are no garantee for the tdf.

But i don't think Dawg will be extremely happy either

Won't be happy but won't be too sad either, his form is ok with a few weeks still to go.

Dawg was one of the strongest this stage as he spent some of the most energy early on though Porte looks to be THE strongest.

The stage win by Fuglsang a couple of days ago where Froome cost Porte the win could make all the difference.

Porte hasn't sat down on his seat for more than a few seconds since the descent from Colombiere.

Is Contador behind Porte/Froome?
Far behind. I wouldn't be surprised if he got in the car at this point. Looks like he warming down
he was distracted by the pretty flowers beside the road and decided to take a nap.

So exciting! Will we enter a new age with the Birdsong era, or will Porte manage to retrieve the Porte era from the jaws of death?

If Porte loses this it's going to be a massive blow, not like he needs this with a fragile mind...

They're both 32, the era won't really be long either way
