Just saying this once: results in the dauphine are no garantee for the tdf.

But i don't think Dawg will be extremely happy either

Dawg was one of the strongest this stage as he spent some of the most energy early on though Porte looks to be THE strongest.

Porte was by far the strongest today. No team at all the whole day, and he had to ride tempo by himself the whole valley, while Froome could count on a super strong Kwiat.

The only problem for Richie will be: can he hold this shape? If he can, he can win the Tour. But most likely he will fade in the third week instead of Froome.

Might've taken a bit out of everyone this, Quintana certainly wont be unhappy here

Is it really possible to draw inferences like that about your opponents' training plan?

Perhaps not, everything at this point is clearly speculation, but Porte has clearly arrived here in brilliant shape, of which would be very difficult to maintain over the next 6 weeks. Unless it somehow transpires that he has arrived undercooked, which I doubt, seeing him kill himself on a massive mountain stage a couple of weeks before the tour is, in all likelyhood good news

So Contador yesterday commented how it's great that some that were before him the day before finished behind him.

I wonder what it will be this time.

why the **** is Porte pacing Froome up the hill ?

do you have eyes? Froome is spent if porte wants to win he has to pace

he finally left him but he should have just blown by him as soon as him caught him and not just move in front of his good buddy (lol) who tried to put him in the barriers and left him on the previous climb when he did all the work

You being serious?

why wouldn't i be serious ? he caught him and instead of just riding by he moved over to pace him

anyway great stage , to bad the coverage started so late

Yesterday was the stage he chose to test himself. Today is was business as usual, don't go too deep. If you'd read some articles you'd have known.
