Visma seem to be running low on climbers, luckily their new signing is in great shape and seems to be really keen on doing the tour.

They still have kelderman an vallter. To me, it's a bit strange Kruijswijk instead of kelderman in the tour. Kelderman can give more guarantees to Vingegaard than Kruijswijk.

Campenaerts must've seen Healy's hood position at the Giro and decided to go even more extreme. I don't know what's stranger out of this and Herregodts looking like he was riding a track bike yesterday.
I believe Campanaerts was the pioneer of aero positions.

Campenaerts has been riding like this for years. Herregodts even said he's the reason he and a lot of other riders are doing it.

Oh absolutely, he's always been an aero obsessive. I was just joking about the fact that Healy seems to have gone even further with his hood position recently.

Interesting, I would've expected them to not care that much honestly. Laporte got his stage, and it isn't easy to control a strong break on this parcours. But looks like QS is helping for Vernon. Probably the only sprinter who can survive that final maybe.

I also think their tactics make very little sense (especially after Kruijswijk's DNF), but if it works for them & they get another stage... it is what it is.

This is a preparation race. Tomorrow is a flat day, and then you have a TT. Van Baarle probably even wants to sit on the front and get some good grunt work in before le Tour.
