Van Baarle is actually not that bad, I think he did a leadout at the top of the penultimate climb and then just let go.

Ben O'Connor is in amazing form! After all he's not the most explosive one, but on Vingegaards wheel immediately. I very much hope he can keep this up in the Tour and is not just ready too early.

Earlier the commentator on the feed I was watching (McCrossan) was reminiscing about the 2018 stage of the Tour de l'Avenir which also finished here, back then Mader won ahead of Sosa, Vingegaard was 111th at 11 mins down. Man has come a long way.

Think Vingegaard could end up even stronger than last year but looking likely that his team won't be, Kuss having ridden the Giro also may not be as strong, will be interesting to see what Wilco has in the locker after his injuries.

Well to be fair last year he won the Tour with only one real mountain domestique remaining (Kuss) so if one of Kelderman or Kuss (or both) stays fit that would already be quite good.
