I would hazard a guess that Carlos Rodríguez manages to turn the tables and beats Bennett today...

I'm having trouble reading the profile and map of the TT. The second half seems to be quite a lot uphill, albeit on shallow gradients most of the time.

It also doesn't look that technical apart from the part before the second intermediate.

This looks to me quite a hard TT, probably sub 50km/h for the winner I guess?

"A leadout was missing", CyclistAbi says, while Roglic literally was in the perfect position to win the stage. What do you actually expect, to get the stages literally served on a silver platter or whats going on? It doesn't get better than this, he just didn't have anything to contest the sprint.

Sure it can get better than this and yes it's expected for sprinters to get a stage served on a sliver platter. Their job is to perform good in last 50m or less. Anything beyond that, they pass, as the team didn't do good enough job.

Roglic to shock someone in dauphine today and beat Tarling even and Evenpoel?

For the tour suspense lets hope for something like that, would be epic. Allez
It will be not a shock if the TT is really that hard, some data:
After La Planche disaster Roglic have ride 10 TT with and average speed under 50 kmh with a result of 8/10 (with second and third in the two defeats)
And if we go sub49 kmh is 8/8.
I think this TT is on the edge of being pro Roglic or not, but if he has great legs he definetely can win.

Not a shock indeed but impressive and intriguing.

Taking into account if Tarling is 100% that is its a good measurement stick if he where to beat him even in a hard TT.

It's the hour of truth, was Remco sandbagging, is Rogla affected by the crash, is the form of both on track for the Tour ... Will any of the riders mentioned in above discussion surprise, or not. As things like betting odds and some rankings can from time to time go awry.

Personally i am hoping for a good TT by Rogla, as that would indicate not only the form but equipment is top notch too. Lets see.

Not singling anyone out here. I find it interesting how being a fan of a rider affects objectivity. (People believe what they want to believe.) I'm in the perfect position of not being a fan of any of the riders in the race, so I'm 100% objective (Sam Bennett for the win). I'm not big into watching time trials (mountain stages with actual attacks are my fillet mignon) but I hope we get some hysterical spin on the performances of the two marquee riders Remco and Rog today.

You continue to make sense. Roglic was shitty yesterday, he was in perfect position to contest the stage. Im flabbergasted everytime I interact with you.
