Being a smaller guy in these bunch sprints must be a nightmare. Was following Penhoet in the helicopter shots, and he got absolutely bullied and squeezed by Van der Poel and Jeanniere. But he's very feisty in defending his position.

I was trying to figure out why Alpecin was working so much today. I got my answer. Nothing much ado

Why is that Milan so light? He looks like he should be from Uno-X :O

Pogi wanted to sprint until the big fight for position started. Don't know why he didn't just drop back with 3 km to go.

Ah, he wanted to keep yellow, fair. But Van der Poel should easily have taken it if he was more experienced as the last man.

Mathieu lost the chance at 2nd and maybe yellow when he chose left of Theuns in the wind instead of following Milan.

Who would’ve been the leader if Mathieu got 2nd and they were in the same time with 3 riders. I’m guessing still Milan because he won the stage today?

MVDP because he would have the least sum of positions in the first two stages.

Congrats to Milan for winning the sprint.

Lidl-Trek really dominating this category so far and in this season. GC teams hogging the road a bit, tough to be a sprinter in this day and age, getting through, sprinters rather exposed in the belly of the bunch.
