Expecting Romeo to hold his jersey after the TT. Although that climb is pretty tough. Pogi a minute behind. Could be close.
Surely Romo could win the whole dapughine from here??
To be fair, have you ever seen Enric try to win a sprint finish? It’s not exactly his forte. It doesn't help when your team leader's version of trying to notch a WT win is begging Almeida to let him win.
Perhaps, though he doesn't look like he has his form here. Unless saving it all for one designated stage.
There’s 0 chance Lipowitz keeps that leadLipowitz gained about 55 seconds today. The big three have just lost this race by underestimating him.

it's not unusual for Healy to just need a couple of days to get into a race. In Itzulia he looked pretty bad the first stages as wellHe sat up in the first two stages to lose time. Time will tell.
Or a Romeo in each town, let's not discriminateRomeo is a stud. He has a Juliet in each town the race finishes.
He's definitely personable and was just talking about Alcaraz being way ahead of him in wins in interview, so he has some catching up to do.Well that was fun. I like Romeo a lot. Some talent.
I think one can only find short highlights. On the topic of race broadcasts, does anyone know if there is footage available of the famous Dauphine TT in 2004 (stage 4). I have a vague recollection at the time of someone on an old angelfire board raging that it wasn't televised but don't know if I've just imagined the entire thing and it's out there somewhere.
Carols might know, she's been taping races going back decades back when we still had VHS tapes. On the topic of race broadcasts, does anyone know if there is footage available of the famous Dauphine TT in 2004 (stage 4). The bump in the middle was a lot less steep, he did not go in the break the day before iirc and Evenepoel was not peaking towards TDF yet. Those are 3 reasons why i would not automatically assume the gap to be similar. I'm not saying it can't be (maybe the jersey will give him wings) but the situation now is clearly different. Evenepoel isn't even the only one on this TT that could potentially bump him down.Romeo only lost 40s to Evenepoel in the Romandie ITT which was also 17km. Should be able to hold on to the yellow jersey after the ITT at least.
Romeo would fit the image of a teenaged heartthrob in the late 80s/early 90s, he's pretty like that (I don't know male beauty standard of today despite having a 20-year old daughter, looking at what she brings home she has no clue either).Romeo is a stud. He has a Juliet in each town the race finishes.

Wow, we have that power? I'm gonna try and miss spell Pogacar's name in the following sentence and we can put this theory to the test tomorrow: I hope John Candy will not reach the same level as he did in last year's TDF.So, sometimes when you miss-spell a rider's name... you turn him into a completely different rider.
I saw him race a few times when he was riding with Hagens Berman, it was a development team nobody was over 19, or 20!! He still looks like a teenager!!Romeo is a stud. He has a Juliet in each town the race finishes.
... it has to be acknowledged that the UCI points and relegation system leads to a lot of cycling terrorism.
It'll be down to 20 seconds tomorrow. RB will be in the hot seat to defend it, too. There’s 0 chance Lipowitz keeps that lead
So now we even have the power of resurrection?Wow, we have that power? I'm gonna try and miss spell Pogacar's name in the following sentence and we can put this theory to the test tomorrow: I hope John Candy will not reach the same level as he did in last year's TDF.
Now all we can do is wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed.
Mathieu's last chance to wear the Yellow came and went. He looked a little disappointed donning the Sprinter's jersey.EF Easy Post, No Education got race plan from Del Toro! 3 down 5to go! 3 days of clown car. Maybe they are saving their strength to win TT..
Don't understand why they went all hands to the front and gave up chase when gap was at a minute or less.
Great move for Romeo and better still to time his counter and jump in between riders attacking MVP..Lipowitz also excellent timing to get the feel for when to roll away from MVP. Good to see Movistar ..Romeo looks super happy in yellow. Breakaway did everything right, multiple beat downs on Mathieu was only logical thing to do, he would have likely beat all in a sprint from the small group.
Pogacar on TT bike doing warm down, looks like he might use it for the entire race instead of switching for small climb, will be curious to see what Remco does .
Healy has positioned himself perfectly for days of dramatic improvements!!it's not unusual for Healy to just need a couple of days to get into a race. In Itzulia he looked pretty bad the first stages as well
