Wanted to get back to this because you're right, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions and presumed the stage had been shortened just because of the rain. It was actually the wind and some road closures...
My bad, next time I'll wait for the actual report as to why a stage is being shortened, I'm still learning.

I'd be lying if I said I'm not looking forward to the dell'Emilia race tomorrow, but commentator said this is supposed to be a hotly contested stage. And they'll still be riding by the coast, so the scenery should be lovely.
