But i do like Trifle which is slices of whiskey/liqueur drizzled sponge or pound cake layered with custard/pudding and whipped cream/non-dairy topping, fruits and/or nuts. it is usually in a glass bowl to show off layers. after it is assembled cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours. just remember the recipe "a trifle of this and a trifle of that"
