Do you have knowledge that the English language world feed is freely available to somebody with a VPN in Asia or Africa? If so, be specific please.

Sorry I dont have specifics but if you have a free VPN ...you could go to the list of broadcasters by country on the Tour website, change to the country you want and see if there is access......its maybe tedious but it might pay off

I know you can get Australia SBS feed and UK ITV with a VPN but the later has commercials

NordVPN and Flobike in Canada will set you back about 45 dollars for a month but can get the world feed this way and cancel Peacock
Need to cast from your phone to your TV

may want to sign for the Vuelta as well as I belive Anthony and Nico are doing that this year on world feed

Some people used this link from Reddit..only available on the day under 'Other ' sport options? I haven't tried it so not sure if it works

The World Feed must go to more places than Canada

My suspicion is NBC doesn't even come close to covering their costs for the TDF. Instead, there is a VP somewhere in the organization that loves spending the month of July in France drinking wine, eating gourmet food, and watching cycling and no one dares tell him "no."

i also wonder if ASO cuts them a deal. having the race available to such a huge market at such a low price ($5 gets you the whole TDF) probably helps ASO more than NBC.

I'm having an issue with Peacock. When they go to commercial break, I keep getting kicked out of the app, on my TV. It happens every commercial break. It is happening on both of my TV's. Anyone else having this problem?
No but sometimes it starts buffering consistently even though everything is working fine so have to close that app and open it back up.

Peacock TV adverts for this year's TdF.

Beer? No.
Jack Daniels or Jim Beam? no
Coca Cola?
Pick up trucks? no.
Salty snacks: no
fast food? no
Erectile dysfunction? no

What do we get:

Sephora hair services
Bikini line shavers
HIV medications (I can only assume that is what they were advertising)
Despicable me
sports drink
Sherman Williams paints

This NBC Peacock coverage is abject sh-t this TdF. Last year, they had a European commercial free feed available for replay, and I could watch almost the entire race at night, fast forwarding through some dull stretches. I'd watch until the breakaways was established, then fast forward so I could watch the end. It was great.

This year, only the commercial version is available, and there are commercials like every 5 minutes. If I want to fast forward, it requires me to endure a 60 second commercial every time. So I open the app, FF about 30 mins in, sit through 60 seconds of commercials, then realize that the race hasn't started yet. FF another 30 mins, 60 seconds more commercials, race hasn't started yet. I do this over and over, until I discover a point where the race has actually started. From there, I have to watch the regular commercials, and if I want to FF at any point, more commercials.

It's borderline unwatchable. I'm paying for Peacock, and they've made it impossible for me to watch the Tour de France because of all this BS. F NBC with a rusty rake. This is why I endorse pirating sports.

I'm no a twitter person, but NBC must have some kind social media feedback presence where we can voice our complaints.

Without any American in contention or in the top 10, kind of predictable.

It was annoying that they’d rather talk about yesterday when the race was kicking off today.

I dunno the coverage has been fine other than the stupid amount of Cavendish crap but I'd assume every channel is doing the same thing

as far as "commercials every 5 minutes", that's just not true. there's barely been any commercial breaks and they're usually pretty short. on stage 4 they showed the entire Galibier + the descent to the finish without a break. cant complain. it used to be way worse when it was on cable.

I watch on replay so commercials are gone just lose the time that would be used for them. Though I do get the lead-in and lead-back so just hit the 10- second jumps as needed. Also with these boring sprint stages just jump the slider a few minutes from time to time and when they do the prerecorded interviews again use the 10 second jumps.
P.S. I am on a laptop using a browser.

Usually the commercials are heavier in the beginnings of a stage and after the finish. If the race is boring they’ll have more commercials. Then say we’re going commercial less till the finish after awhile depending on the stage and situation.
