It’s okay to expect more out of coverages. The problem with flo in North America is georestrictions and licensing. And black outs. And lack of provider choices. And quality of coverage.

The less competitive the provider market, the higher the prices, lower quality coverage and content.

Better than nothing? I suppose

the geo-restrictions are not their fault at all though, that's not how it works. they own the rights to the ASO races in Canada only, they cannot let US viewers watch them because Peacock has the exclusive rights here. knocking them for geo-restrictions is completely unfair. everything available in the US is commercial free and with good picture quality, there's nothing more i can ask for. it's way, way better than nothing. it's way better than it was 10-15 years ago too.

It all depends on what races Flo will be covering. We are used to feasting on just about 90% of races by combining Peacock and GCN now. Assuming NBC holds onto all its races Flo can only add the RCS races which includes the Giro and a few one day races.
It's almost a given I'll cough up the money if they only add the Giro and Lombardia.
But I'll whine about their meager catalog, high cost and lousy service. BTW I don't have either Netfix or Hulu so have no idea what they cost. I only have Peacock because that's where they moved the cycling. But I do watch a couple of procedurals. And Peacock only cost me $30 this year and $20 next year. Actually I really dislike streaming. I have a satellite and dvr and can watch and Keep recorded shows. Vuelta 2012 Fuente de and Giro 2015's las few stages are still on it and I still watch them whenever.
Everything except cycling is recorded and watched later so I ff through the commercials. And there are tons of on demand movies I can record and keep. IMO streaming stinks, I Dislike it. But I'm stuck with it for cycling.

yeah, I liked when the races were on cable for DVR purposes, too. i still have 2015 giro stage 16 on my DVR! but my cable provider didn't have the channel that showed the 2012 Vuelta so I missed the entire thing. i haven't had to miss a grand tour since with streaming.

They are in the middle of georestriction situations and have been since their beginning. You follow a niche sport where worlds are available to everyone for free except American location audiences. Eff them

I know, I've had it since before it was streamed. When they showed all those and much more on TV. I knew 99% of us here know what they usually carry and didn't feel like typing it all out. What surprises will we have for 2024? More races or less?
Hope they have more but doubt it unless they fork over more cash and start using the world feed again.

I remember back in Lance’s heyday we got all 3 GTs for a season or two before OLN became VS. Actually the Giro had live coverage in the USA before the TDF did since OLN was carrying the Giro as far back as 1998 and ESPN had the rights to the TDF until after 2000.

I believe there was someone that wrote in the GCN thread who already had MAX and just needed the addon.
I'm hoping whoever it was will let us know what cycling coverage is listed as provided.
I was figuring I'd get it starting in Feb and ending in October or 9 months. But it depends on the dates of the races they are covering.

I got FloSports for the CX season, and it looks like they have a pretty good selection of Road Racing as well. The Event Replay page always has spoilers which is very annoying, but there is a workaround to avoid seeing them. The BIG problem is FloSports doesn't have any Italian races! Does anyone know where we can find coverage for MSR, Strade Bianche, Giro, etc? Max Sports doesn't work well for me since they only have live coverage and I am on the West Coast...

Has anyone with MAX+ asked if there are going to be Replays? There has been some talk that in the past season the races were only available live. If they don't have cycling races with replay I will not be able to see any races anyway so I wouldn't need to subscribe. I could be wrong about the replay situation if so please let me know. If they didn't have replays could someone ask, if now, since they will be major provider of races in the US and most/many would need replays to watch, to request to for replays to be available.

Last February NBC announced their new 6 year agreement for Le Tour 2024-2029.
Here's an excerpt from the press release...

As part of the agreement, NBC Sports will present many additional A.S.O. events throughout the year, including cycling events such as La Vuelta a España, which is the final Grand Tour event of the year following the Tour de France, La Vuelta Feminina by Carrefour.es, the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, the Spring Classics including the men’s and women’s Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift, the Ardennaises Classics (men and women) that are La Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Criterium du Dauphine, and Paris Tours.

Is there a Contact "Button" when you go to the site?
Thank You for the response. I can't imagine how they have not had replays for their sports, that seems weird and that would especially be weird where the cycling broadcasts are before the audiences here in the US aren't even up.

i think it's likely they'll have replays, this is still a pretty new streaming service that is currently free to Max subscribers. in February it will start being $9.99/month and i think (hope) by then they will have on-demand for live content.
