lol what a blog full of shiit.
pretty obvious that the blog has something personal only against il killer

i giovani italiani are crrap most of them. rebellin and di luca still owning. the class never goes away!

Just because they have an opinion that differs from yours does not mean they are full of it.

All that article points out is that he brings a fair bit of sponsor money in his wake hence his imposition on the team. Fair comment, not an agenda.

BTW the blog in your signature seems to be a glorification of flawed riders judging by the header of crooks.

LMAO. Funny stuff, right there.

Why the continual glorification of cheats is beyond me. Next we will be hearing about Pantani etc. Oh I forgot, everyone else is also cheating but haven't been caught yet. Right. The guy has no chance in the Giro as will be seen. He should write a book like all of the others and disappear.

Hillarious how all the Sky fanboys who consider themselves "above the clinic" always end up taking their cheap shots in here.

Either you dont give a **** about doping and won't judge anyone, or you do and go discuss it in the clinic.

Doing it here in the hope of shielding oneself from rebuttals is just cowardly.

ultimobici if it's your blog then i'm really sorry:eek:

And according to the live feed the Killer had also to work for Gatto, so another very good performance after yesterday.
I doubt he will be a factor for GC, but at least he will be able to do something for the Tifosi, especially in the Pescara stage.

No, nothing to do with me. I just took the time to read the piece, which is on a blog by Cyclingpro.it magazine. It wasn't a hate piece like you described at all.

c'mon it's pathetic and ridiculous at the same time.there were two pieces on il killer...not just this one. that means that the author really wants to prove his point clearly towards di luca.the disgust towards the rider.

it suggests that he maybe didn't even train all these 8 months(lol) but not giving any proof. i follow the abruzzo tv show since january. and every time it was mentioned that danilo di luca trains like a nutter and goes on lanciano like a moto.

it suggests of course that he wasn't in the testing pool(wrong again and without proof). he wouldn't ride now if that would be the case.

it suggests that he's an old fart without any value as a rider, he only wants a good publicity for his bikes

it says that he goes in giro as a tourist, he will be at the back of the peloton every day. and just to honour the contract.... lol wut?

it says that phisiologically di luca is dead, he can't no more. how the fucc does the author know if di luca is finished as a rider or not? how?

seeing how he went in both lanciano and toscana i really hope the author was angry with how stupid he looks now with his little hate blog piece

yes di luca is dead as a rider that's why he was one of the strongest riders these two days...
a hate piece nothing else. those kind of business are made since the beginning of pro cycling. di luca isn't corti's son or bernaudeau though. and no, he didn't take the place of a great italian hope for il giro but that of huslmans by the way

You're reading way too much into both pieces.

It merely states that it is 8 months since his last race and that it's not clear what training he has been doing, nor that he is definitely in the testing pool. That is no different to a partisan local TV program reporting its favourite son is training like a man possessed.

The fact remains that his riding for Vini Farnese is all to do with sponsor pressure and nothing to do with sporting considerations. It was one thing for Cippolini to be refused as he was the only one touting his return, Di Luca couldn't be refused as he was backed by the owner of the main sponsor. If Scinto had refused he'd have had an issue or two keeping the team intact.

the way you put it, it's acceptable reading and true
on that blog the package in which the message is put it's very close to offensive.

anyway, giro is upon us.
hopefully i will have good reasons to bump this thread...

Offensive? I think you're a little thin-skinned mate, if you find a mildly critical piece like that offensive!

Let's get this thread back on topic.

I did like Di Luca in 2009 [?] when he almost cracked Menchov.

For the rest he is a bum.

A Bartoli wannabee.

Sorry for his fans.

He did have big cojones.

Just my opinion.
